John Mayer Continuum Album Review!

John Mayer has always been a skilled, and talented artist. His style is laid back, and mellow focusing on the vocals and a few main streams of instruments. His album the Continuum displayed his talents at their best! Every song was perfectly played without imperfections. in the overall product the immaculate playing paid off to make an outstanding album.

The lyrics in the songs were all brilliantly configured. All of the songs have uplifting positive ideas that lead you to have a more positive outlook on things. The songs all had a main idea but each idea had a pice in the overall concept of the album.

Overall, though all of the songs on John's album were a little bit different they come together to form the main thought of the album. For example in the song Heat of Life there is more of a upbeat, vibrant mood where as a song like Dreaming with a Broken Heart has more of a mellow, somber feel to it. Even though the two songs are very different they relate to the overall concept of life, and love.

All of the songs in the Continuum had a flow about them. Though few instruments are played at a time, and the texture of the songs are very thin, and the musical lines complement the lyrics. Because of the complementing back ground music, and lyrics the perfect balance and ease came about as a result of the two factors. Overall John Mayer's album is fantastic and is defiantly worth listening to.
